Rev. Chris Holmes - Holmes Coaching

“Owen Ross is a treasure!  His unique skill set and background -- coupled with a track record of successfully building a  growing Hispanic church -- makes him the real deal when it comes to coaching and consulting for congregational vitality.  Owen a dynamic speaker, and an invaluable resource here in the North Texas Conference.  I highly recommend him!”

Rev. Dr. Jim Ozier - Ozier Coaching.

"Dr. Owen Ross is a bridge between the United Methodist Church and the Hispanic immigrant community. His passion for ministry and gifts have catapulted him to become a nationally recognized and respected voice for social justice issues as it relates to immigration. Dr. Ross' exceptional leadership is visibly demonstrated through Christ Foundry UMM - a church start of the North Texas Annual Conference. Christ Foundry is a thriving bilingual faith community that recently built their own church building debt free. Who would've thought that one of the most successful Hispanic ministries in the nation is led by a white pastor? Dr. Ross is shattering stereotypes big time!"

Rev. Dr. Edgar Baza, Pastor - New World UMC - Garland, Texas

"Dr. Owen Ross is a vivid example of someone who has a clear sense of vision and deep passion for evangelism, discipleship and outreach.  In a very short period time he has been able to develop a vital Latino Ministry in the Dallas, TX area particularly through small groups and a music academy. Dr. Ross visited with our pastors and laity during a Holy Convocation prior to Pentecost Sunday, 2015 and made a fantastic presentation on the beginnings and strategic model of his ministry at The Foundry of Christ United Methodist Church. I would highly recommend him as a motivational speaker and congregational development strategist."

Dr. Irving Cotto - Northeast District Superintendent

Eastern Pennsylvania Conference of The United Methodist Church

"For more than a decade I have watched Owen’s leadership reach across the obstacles of language and culture. We all can learn much from Owen’s leadership and the ministry at Christ’s Foundry about what it means to make disciples of Jesus Christ, especially as we reach across the barriers of culture and language."

Dr. Burt Palmer, Senior Pastor, Kingwood UMC - Kingwood, Texas

I never heard of Dr. Owen Ross until planning a 2016 District Leadership Training event.  I am richer and wiser due to the two days I spent with him.  The second day, a Sunday I heard him preach and then he coached our team in setting a direction for our multi-cultural new church plant.  Owen is a gifted preacher and teacher, coach and pastor.  His message awakens hearts to look at our own prejudices.  His gentle, yet direct approach presses us to break through barriers that hold us back from taking risks.  And his personal conviction draws us into the convicting presence of the Holy Spirit.  For this one weekend, he became my coach and mentor.  Thank you, Owen.

Rev. Rae Lynn Schleif, Former District Superientendent of the Maumee Watershed District -West Ohio Conference., Texas
